Virgin Hotels New York City Names Luna GM

NEW YORK, NY — Virgin Hotels New York City, part of the luxury-lifestyle hotel brand by Sir Richard Branson, has announced the appointment of Denise Luna as General Manager. In her new role, Luna oversees the operations of the 460-room hotel located in the heart of Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood. She manages all departments, strategic planning, team development, and community engagement.

“We are thrilled to have Denise Luna join our Virgin Hotels team,” said Virgin Hotels Collection CEO James Bermingham in a press release. “Her wealth of knowledge and  experience in the industry makes her the perfect choice to lead this flagship hotel.”

Luna brings over 27 years of invaluable experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Virgin Hotels New York City, she served as a task force general manager for the Real Hospitality Group. She worked her way up in the industry, with roles ranging from food & beverage to engineering, housekeeping to operations, HR, and more, working with a variety of hotels and brands, including Marriott and IHG, all around New York City.
