Sage Hospitality Group Appoints Don Li as Executive Vice President of Business Development & Head of Asia Pacific

Sage Hospitality Group announced Monday the appointment of Don Li to the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development & Head of Asia Pacific. As part of the Sage Investments team, Li will support new business growth and the optimization of performance for existing assets with an additional focus on seeking out partners and capital opportunities from overseas, according to a press release.

With decades of experience growing leading brands and developing hotels both domestically and in Asia, Li brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position, the release said. In the last ten years, he served as Executive Vice President & Head of Asia Investment Group with both Interstate and Aimbridge Hospitality, where he played a critical role in assisting foreign owners with U.S. hotel acquisitions and the management of their assets. Li is based in Los Angeles and holds a master’s degree in organizational development from Columbia University.
