Ricardo Marriott Near DFW Airport Unveils Major Renovation, Rebranding
April 9, 2026
The 293-room Ricardo Marriott DFW Westlake has opened 8 miles from DFW International Airport after a complete renovation and rebranding, as of April 7.
The company says the new name honors Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, known for his use of bright colors, light and shadow, and geometric shapes. The hotel was acquired in September 2023 as the Marriott Westlake by a joint venture of NewcrestImage and Dabu Group. It is now managed by Coury Hospitality.
“We have reimagined this property for today’s marketplace,” said Mehul Patel, managing partner of NewcrestImage. “It is a vibrant and contemporary blend of swanky luxury and homey comfort that provides us with strong rate performance in a strategically active market.”
The renovation added the House of Toro Chophouse and Patio, a steakhouse with a Latin influence. Two other restaurants — the Solana Kitchen and Lounge and Café 31 — are also on site, along with nearly 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and 17 event rooms.
“The hotel has been renovated and rebranded to drive performance for ownership, to elevate the guest experience, and to strengthen its role within the local community,” said Paul Coury, CEO of Coury Hospitality. “We honored the property’s architectural pedigree while introducing new energy through design, enhanced amenities and modern technology.”
Nearby are corporate offices and upscale shopping destinations such as Southlake Town Square and The Shops at Lakeside DFW. Also close by are historic downtown Grapevine and attractions including Texas Motor Speedway, AT&T Stadium, Six Flags Over Texas, Grapevine Botanical Garden and Marshall Creek Ranch.
