ATLANTA – Peachtree Group has further strengthened its leadership team within its broker-dealer affiliate, Peachtree PC Investors (“PPCI”), with the appointment of industry veteran Brian Cho as president of PPCI. In addition, Daniel Savage and Kyle Freda have joined PPCI as senior leaders. These appointments support Peachtree’s strategic objectives to scale up its capital markets, investor relations and sales efforts as well as strengthen its financial and compliance operations, according to a press release.
“Brian brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization,” said Brent LeBlanc, Peachtree’s executive vice president of capital markets. “With a 15-year distinguished career in the financial industry, he has a proven track record of driving growth, managing complex capital markets and implementing compliance strategies.”
As president, Cho will be responsible for PPCI’s operations and supporting the firm’s investment objectives.
“I am privileged to be entrusted with guiding our capital markets team as we embark on the next phase of growth,” said Cho. “We have a unique investment philosophy, tremendous culture and a proven record of accomplishment.”
Before joining PPCI, Cho served as senior vice president of operations for Overlay Capital, a vertical-focused fund manager investing in venture capital and private investment opportunities. Prior experiences include senior leadership positions in operations and compliance with Preferred Capital Securities, FIS and Lighthouse Investment Partners.
“We are also pleased to welcome Daniel and Kyle to Peachtree,” LeBlanc said. “Both are accomplished, results-driven and performance-focused professionals that will support and elevate Peachtree’s value proposition to the investment community.”
Savage will be responsible for capital formation strategies and investor communications and liaise with internal and external investment sales and Peachtree’s investment teams in this newly created role. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president, investor relations for Cohen Investment Group, responsible for raising private equity from high-net-worth investors, institutions and family offices for their direct real estate investment offerings. Prior to that, Savage worked for Glenview Capital Management, LLC, an alternative asset hedge fund.
As director of external wholesaling for the Southeast region, Freda will be responsible for developing relationships with financial advisors and strategic partners to raise capital for Peachtree’s various investment offerings. Before Peachtree, Freda was vice president, external wholesale, South Atlantic, for CION Investments. Prior to CION, he held investment sales positions with PGIM Investments, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
