Indigo Road Announces Two Promotions

CHARLESTON, SC — The Indigo Road Hospitality Group announced last week two promotions in its Lodging & Lifestyle Adventures division.

Rising from general manager to senior director of lodging operations, Gabriel Perez will oversee the operations of a portfolio of boutique hotels in the Southeast.

“Gabriel has consistently demonstrated his mastery of the ever-changing complexities of the independent boutique hotel sector of hospitality and his skill in guiding diverse teams in challenging conditions,” said Larry Spelts, president of Lodging & Lifestyle Adventures. “His ascent to the role of senior director of operations is a testament to his unwavering dedication and vast industry insight. We are confident that with Gabriel leading our lodging operations managers, our team members will receive the robust support they need to take our iconic properties to new heights of experiential hospitality.”

Prior to his promotion, Perez served as a general manager for Indigo Road, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and service. Before joining Indigo Road, Perez worked as a general manager for IHG Hotels & Resorts and Highgate. He also has worked for several other renowned hotel brands.

Stepping into the lodging operations director and task force manager role, Marcos Oliviera previously held the title of director of rooms at The Indigo Road for two years. Before that, he held general manager positions at properties for major brands.
