HREC Arranges Sale of the Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island

HREC Investment Advisors announced Tuesday it has arranged the sale of the 138-guestroom Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island located on over 5 acres of beachfront land along the Atlantic Ocean on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The property was acquired by a Southeast-based owner/operator of upscale beach-oriented hotels, according to a press release.

HREC Investment Advisors exclusively represented the seller, an affiliate of Peachtree Group, on this transaction. The marketing and negotiations were led by Monty Levy, Managing Director (Atlanta) and Broker of Record for Georgia, and Michael Salloway, Vice President (Atlanta).

“This was the second time that HREC has advised on the sale of this iconic beachfront asset,” noted Levy. “Further, it was yet another very successful sales engagement that we executed on behalf of one of our firm’s key clients.”

Located beachfront, surrounded by an oak tree canopy and untouched sand dunes, the Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island is located in a popular resort location. The Hotel is approximately 1.8 miles north of the southern tip of Jekyll Island.
