HREC Investment Advisors is pleased to announce that it has arranged the sale of the 100-guestroom Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte-Arrowood Rd. located in Charlotte, North Carolina and the 110-guestroom Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast-Fort Jackson Area located in Columbia, South Carolina. Both assets were acquired by an affiliate of Maya Hotels based in Charlotte. HREC Investment Advisors exclusively represented the seller, an affiliate of Broadshore Capital Partners, on this transaction. The marketing and negotiations were led by Monty Levy, Managing Director (Atlanta), Amish Naik, Vice President (Charlotte), and Monroe Scott Stephens, Sr., Broker of record for North Carolina and South Carolina.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte -Arrowood Rd. is strategically located directly off of Interstate 77 in the highly desirable Arrowood submarket. The Hotel is ideally located at the entrance of the Pine Brook Business Park, one of five in the area that is home to companies including Microsoft. The Property is located just five miles from Carowinds Water and Theme Park and three miles away from TopGolf. The Arrowood Light Rail Station is three miles away which travelers/guests can take to get to downtown’s largest leisure demand generators: Bank of America Stadium and The Spectrum Center.
Located directly between two major interstates, the Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast-Fort Jackson Area is easily accessible from both I-77 and I-20, via Two Notch Road. Located only 4 miles from the Property is the Fort Jackson Military Base. Fort Jackson is the largest and most active initial entry training center in the US Army, training 50 percent of all soldiers entering the army each year – which accounts for approximately 44,000 graduates a year. Also, the Property is just 8 miles from the heart of the campus of the University of South Carolina, a highly regarded academic and athletic school that is also the largest public university in the state. This gives guests easy access to the University’s biggest demand generators such as Williams-Bryce Stadium, Colonial Life Arena, Founders Park USC Graduations, and other university backed events.
