BWH Hotels Opens @HOME by Best Western Extended-Stay Property in U.S.
PHOENIX —BWH Hotels has opened the first @HOME by Best Western property in the United States in St. George, Utah.
According to the company, the new-build hotel was developed in partnership with Prime Hospitality and designed to blend apartment-style living with hotel conveniences.
“This development reflects the rising demand for well-designed, long-term accommodations that combine comfort and flexibility and deliver the kind of practical spaces travelers now look for across every stay type,” said Brad LeBlanc, senior vice president and chief development officer at BWH Hotels. “St. George is an incredible market for extended-stay and we are proud to be in the community.”
@HOME by Best Western St. George is a four-story property with 92 apartment-style studios, according to BWH Hotels. Room amenities include kitchens, workspaces and social patios. Shared amenities include a pool, a large fitness center and dedicated spaces for guests to reserve and store larger items such as bikes and skis, the company said.
BWH Hotels said the project is designed to meet demand for flexible, long-term accommodations as the St. George are continues to grow, citing the region’s major medical facility, Intermountain Health, and its access to nearby national parks.
The opening of the St. George property marks the fourth property partnership between BWH Hotels and Prime Hospitality, according to the company. The others include Zion Wildflower Resort (WorldHotels Crafted), a luxury glamping experience located in Virgin, Utah, just outside Zion National Park; Best Western Plus Zion Canyon Inn & Suites in Springdale, Utah; and Best Western Mesquite Inn in Mesquite, Nev.
“Our continued success with BWH Hotels has translated into strong early performance, and we are excited to be fully open and welcoming guests,” said Nick Ence, owner and president of Prime Hospitality.
BWH Hotels said it expects continued growth for the @HOME by Best Western brand, with a global pipeline projected to reach 34 hotels and 2,791 rooms by the end of 2026. The company said the St. George opening follows a recent opening in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada, and will be followed by an @HOME by Best Western debut near Atlanta, Ga., in late 2026.
BWH Hotels is the parent company of WorldHotels, Best Western Hotels & Resorts and SureStay Hotels, and said the enterprise has about 4,300 hotels in more than 100 countries and territories. Prime Hospitality said it operates franchises and independent properties across a portfolio that includes Utah and Nevada.
