Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort Opens 13 Oceanfront Suites

KAPA‘A, Hawaii — Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort has opened 13 Deluxe Oceanfront Suites, adding newly designed accommodations overlooking Kauai’s eastern shoreline.

The 672-square-foot suites feature a king bed, separate living area, floor-to-ceiling windows and a private oceanfront lanai. The beds are elevated and positioned toward the lanais to provide views of Kauai’s eastern shoreline and the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean.

According to the company, the interiors are designed to draw on the Hawaiian concept of “From Mauka to Makai,” or the journey from the mountains to the sea. The design incorporates wood finishes, woven textiles, natural materials and neutral tones intended to reflect Kauai’s forests, volcanic landscape and coastline.

The project also added custom furnishings, handwoven fabrics and expanded indoor-outdoor living areas. The resort did not disclose the cost of the suite development.

Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort is located in Kapa’a on Kauai’s Royal Coconut Coast. The beachfront property has 314 redesigned guest rooms, four dining options, an infinity pool, an oceanfront bar and lounge, a fitness center and 7,870 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
