The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta Names Kurt Schwan Director of Sales and Marketing

ATLANTA — The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta has appointed Kurt Schwan director of sales and marketing.

Schwan, who is rejoining The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, most recently served as director of sales and marketing at InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, where he led sales, catering and conference services and served on the executive committee.

His hospitality career began in Atlanta in 2000 at Hilton Atlanta. He later held sales leadership roles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts at The Westin Buckhead, The Westin Peachtree Plaza and W Atlanta Midtown.

Schwan first joined The Ritz-Carlton brand in 2008, supporting both The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead and The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta. From 2017 to 2024, he served as director of sales at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, overseeing group, catering and transient business.
