Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach Appoints Seth McDaniels as General Manager

CLEARWATER, FL. – Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach announces the appointment of Seth McDaniels as general manager of the resort, located on Florida’s gulf shore. In his new role at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, McDaniels will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the resort, enhancing the brand, managing staff, and ensuring a quality guest experience.

McDaniels joins Wyndham from Davidson Hospitality Group where he served as Vice President of Openings & Experience. During his tenure at Davidson, McDaniels directed the largest growth of hotels in Davidson’s history, converting and opening more than 35 hotels since 2021. Prior to joining Davidson, he worked at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he served as Director of Openings, Transitions & Brand Experience. McDaniels worked for Two Roads Hospitality, before Hyatt bought the company in 2018.
Previously, Seth was General Manager at The Epiphany which he repositioned to launch Nobu Hotel in Palo Alto, California, where he oversaw all operational departments and stewarded the success of the property. He also held several leadership positions with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, including The Goodland in Santa Barbara, California and EPIC Hotel in Miami, Florida. He received a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, Chaplin School of Hospitality Management.
