NASHVILLE, TENN. – On Monday, Hilton announced the opening of The Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Formerly the historic Gray & Dudley Building, the property was converted to a 124-key boutique lifestyle hotel in 2017. Tapestry Collection by Hilton is one of Hilton’s five lifestyle brands, with each Tapestry Collection hotel offering a unique story, style and design, according to a press release.
“Nashville is one of the fastest growing hotel markets in the country and we’re thrilled to continue our expansion with the opening of The Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton,” said Danny Hughes, executive vice president and president, Americas for Hilton. “The hotel’s unique design, beloved signature restaurant and museum quality art, paired with our signature hospitality will create a memorable stay for our guests.”
Blocks from Nissan Stadium and Bridgestone Arena, guests can enjoy proximity to Nashville’s famed entertainment and nightlife districts, Printers Alley and Broadway. True to Nashville’s burgeoning art scene, the hotel’s on-site contemporary art gallery showcases a rotating selection of highly-curated exhibitions and site-specific installations reflecting modern culture, all of which are complimentary and open to the public.
“The Bankers Alley Hotel will be a great representation of the brand in Nashville, offering guests original stay experiences in the heart of Music City,” said Jenna Hackett, global brand head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “With contemporary art to explore in every corner and Southern-inspired dining and unique personality, the hotel embodies the Tapestry Collection brand and will be a staple in Downtown Nashville.”
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the hotel’s 1900s era building originally served as the headquarters of the neighborhood’s historic Gray & Dudley Hardware Company. Inspired by the property’s affinity and dedication to art, music and lively culture of downtown Nashville, design details from rich colors to highly patterned and textured materials are entwined with elements of its storied past, such as its large arched windows and cast-iron columns. The hotel features 110 rooms and 14 suites, and guests can expect wood floors, high ceilings, art and contemporary furnishings. A selection of suites on the eighth floor offers sweeping city views from a semi-private terrace, while the Penthouse Suite offers views of the city and Cumberland River from its wrap-around terrace, with a dining table for six indoors and a separate dining table for ten outside.
The Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is home to Gray & Dudley, the hotel’s signature bar and restaurant celebrating southern cuisine with locally-sourced products from Nashville area producers and craft purveyors.
From social events to intimate meetings, The Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton features 10,500 square feet of art-filled exhibition and meeting space across ten meeting rooms including gallery space, private dining rooms, a terrace and the museum.
With more than 70 hotels in the Nashville market, the opening of The Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton demonstrates Hilton’s commitment to growth in the region. In the last year, Hilton opened Hotel Fraye Nashville Midtown, Curio Collection by Hilton, Conrad Nashville and Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown, and has more than 20 hotels in the pipeline.
