Crescent Hotels & Resorts Adds Shangri-La Resort & Marina to the Latitudes Portfolio

MONKEY ISLAND, OK – Crescent Hotels & Resorts announced the addition of the Shangri-La Resort & Marina to its Latitudes: Lifestyles by Crescent collection. Located in Northeast Oklahoma at the tip of Monkey Island on the shores of the Grand Lake, Shangri-La was awarded “Outstanding Attraction in Oklahoma” by the Oklahoma Travel Industry.
Positioned on approximately 1,300 miles of shoreline, the Shangri-La Resort & Marina is recognized as the only full-service resort complex on northeastern Oklahoma’s Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees. The lakeside getaway features 119 rooms with premium amenities, according to a press release. The property also features poolside fire pits, full-service spa facilities, and a fitness center with indoor pool. Additionally, the paved Monkey Island Trail, which connects with the Hotel parking lot and extends five-and-a-half miles, is a great way to explore the island by foot, golf cart or power-assisted bicycle.
Shangri-La Resort & Marina is also home to 45 holes of lakeside golf, offering lessons from professional golfers over a selection of four top-rated courses.
The Anchor and Racquet Club is the Resort’s activity center offering outdoor and indoor tennis and pickleball courts, an arcade featuring traditional and virtual reality games, golf and shooting simulator bays, a fishing pond, numerous outdoor sporting activities and The Anchor Sports Bar with more than 12 TVs for cheering on one’s favorite team.
