Bre Smith Appointed GM at the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica

The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica announced Wednesday the promotion of Bre Smith to General Manager. The new role follows the restoration and re-opening of the oceanfront property in April, where Smith first joined the team as Director of Operations.

Smith joined the 84-key property with over 15 years of experience in hospitality and management, with a special focus on art, creativity, service.

Her hospitality journey began in 2004 while attending Loyola Marymount University. Her tenure at The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey marked the beginning of her career in hospitality. During her time with the Ritz-Carlton, Smith worked across properties spanning Palm Beach, Vegas, Boston, San Francisco, Abu Dhabi, Maui, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico. She served as Director of Restaurants at the Beverly Hilton, the Director of Guest Relations at the Ambassador Chicago, the Hollywood Roosevelt, and later the Corporate Director of Guest Services at Triumph Hotels in New York. Most recently, Bre was the Director of Food and Beverage at Soho House Chicago.
