Practice Hospitality Appoints Zach Miller as General Manager of Americana Motor Hotel
Practice Hospitality is proud to announce Zach Miller as general manager of Americana Motor Hotel, the Dallas-based hotel management group’s forthcoming property set to open in Flagstaff in July. Leading the opening of Americana Motor Hotel, Miller is in charge of recruiting staff for the reinvented Route 66 motor hotel and will oversee daily operations, sales efforts, budgets and a team of over 20 onsite employees.
A twenty-year veteran in the hospitality industry, Miller began his career in Portland, Oregon, where he served as assistant general manager at The Jupiter and oversaw a full property renovation on the vintage motel. He also served as general manager of The Society Hotel and was responsible for opening that boutique Portland hotel-hostel hybrid and held several leadership positions with Portland-based Provenance Hotels in Oregon, Washington and Tennessee. Miller most recently served as general manager and led the opening of The Bradley, a 4-star luxury boutique hotel in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Under his leadership, The Bradley was the top ranked hotel in the city on TripAdvisor.
“We’re thrilled to have Zach on our team as general manager,” said Bashar Wali, chief executive officer at Practice Hospitality. “His love of outdoors and active lifestyle combined with several years of experience opening and operating hip, boutique hotels make him the perfect fit to launch Americana Motor Hotel in Flagstaff. We are confident that Zach’s continued success and thoughtful passion for hospitality will be an asset as we introduce the reinvented motor hotel to Northern Arizona this summer.”
