Electric Mirror to Host Free Webinar on Materials and Yield

Electric Mirror will host a free virtual masterclass, “How to Build a Spec That Lasts: Materials & Yield,” at 1 p.m. EDT and 10 a.m. PDT on Thursday, Aug. 20.

The 45-minute session is designed for hospitality interior designers, purchasers and other industry professionals. The company says it will examine how material selection and yield can affect appearance, performance, project costs and long-term value.

Topics will include selecting materials that align with design goals and budgets, factors that influence durability, maintenance and lifecycle costs and decisions about where to invest or reduce costs within a specification.

Jade Russell, executive vice president of vanities at Electric Mirror, will lead the presentation. Russell has more than a decade of experience in hospitality furniture, fixtures and equipment, including work in design, procurement, operations, manufacturing and product development.

Before joining Electric Mirror, Russell held leadership positions with Design Environments, IHG, Kimball and Decolav. In her current role, she works with hospitality brands, ownership groups, designers and procurement teams to develop product specifications.
