Remington Hospitality to Manage Newly Renovated La Concha Key West, Autograph Collection

December 19, 2023

DALLAS, TX — Hotel management company Remington Hospitality has announced the rebranding of Crowne Plaza La Concha Hotel in Key West, Florida, to La Concha Key West, Autograph Collection. Remington Hospitality, which managed the property previously, will continue in conjunction with sister company Premier, which is spearheading the renovation’s interior design, procurement, and project management. The project is slated for completion in early 2024.

La Concha Key West, Autograph Collection is a National Historic Landmark located in the heart of the Downtown Historic District of Old Key West. The 160-room rebranded hotel will unveil a chic, modern aesthetic that captures the tropical essence of Key West. The transformation not only breathes new life into the property but also pays tribute to the notable guests, including literary icons like Ernest Hemingway, Tennessee Williams, and former President Harry Truman. The hotel blends contemporary style with a nod to its storied past, creating an inviting space that resonates with both modern sensibilities and the allure of Key West’s legacy.

“The newly refreshed space showcases a design that seamlessly harmonizes the Autograph Collection brand with the timeless charm of Key West,” said Sloan Dean, Remington’s CEO. “We can’t wait for guests to experience this unique destination that embodies the vibrancy and relaxation that the Florida Keys offers.”

La Concha Key West, Autograph Collection provides guests with modern amenities, including a newly renovated pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a rooftop lounge with breathtaking city views. Remington will also manage three unique culinary and beverage experiences, all inspired by the local Cuban influence and Spanish culture:

Perla, Spanish for “pearl,” reimagines Cuban cuisine through the lens of Key West, creating unique dishes and modern takes on traditional plates.

Tropicado, a mojito bar, provides guests with a relaxed, approachable setting for crafted classic drinks and light bites. The inventive mashup of “tropical” and the Spanish suffix “ado” implies “how we feel.”

El Dom, a Cuban-inspired cafe named after the popular game, offers a fun, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy coffee or indulge in traditional dishes like Cuban sandwiches and peccadillos.

Centrally located in Old Town’s major attractions, guests can easily walk to local beaches, shopping, entertainment, nightlife, and other outdoor activities, including diving and water sports. The hotel is also closely located to other landmarks, including Mallory Square, The Hemingway Home and Museum, the Truman Little White House, and the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum.
