Margaritaville Resort Times Square Appoints Key Leadership

NEW YORK (March 11, 2021) – Margaritaville Resort Times Square announces the appointment of four key leaders across different verticals and areas of expertise overseeing the operations of the brand’s newest urban resort in the heart of New York City. Bringing a ‘no worries’ vibe to the city that never sleeps, the 234-room resort will feature a ‘casual-luxe’ design, instantly transporting guests to the iconic Margaritaville state of mind right in the heart of Manhattan. The leadership team includes New York hospitality veterans with more than four decades of combined industry experience to the highly anticipated Margaritaville Resort Times Square opening late spring 2021.

Kori Yoran, General Manager
Margaritaville Resort Times Square has appointed Kori Yoran as General Manager, overseeing the resort’s day-to-day management and oversight of operations, including: front of the house, recruitment, development of staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Kori joins Margaritaville from Dream Midtown, where he most recently served as General Manager for two years. Prior leadership roles also include Assistant Director of Housekeeping at Soho Grand Hotel and Assistant Manager at InterContinental New York Times Square in New York City.

Kylie Featherby, Director of Food and Beverage Operations
Kylie Featherby has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage Operations. Before joining the Margaritaville team in New York, she held notable positions as Area Director and General Manager at Applebee’s in Times Square and worked at respected New York institutions like P.J. Clarkes and Don’t Tell Mama. With more than 13 years of experience, Kylie is responsible for strategically managing food and beverage operations and ensuring overall guest and staff satisfaction for all five restaurant and bar venues at Margaritaville Resort Times Square.

John Pasquale, Director of Catering Sales
John Pasquale has been selected as the Director of Catering Sales for Margaritaville Resort Times Square’s five bars and restaurants. John joined the Margaritaville team after a 20-year tenure at Hard Rock Cafe in New York where he oversaw all sales and marketing initiatives for not only the restaurant but the Hard Rock retail store and entertainment complex as well. In his new role, John is responsible for managing and developing group business accounts in local, leisure, and convention market segments and handling the entire group booking process from inquiries to final details and event execution.

Samara DellaRagione, Director of Sales and Marketing
Samara DellaRagione has been appointed the Director of Sales and Marketing for Margaritaville Resort in Times Square. Before joining the team in January 2020, Samara was Director of Sales and Marketing for Dream Midtown and previously worked at SIXTY Hotels 6 Columbus and Copthorne Hotels. In her new role, Samara will oversee and develop strategic sales and marketing objectives, implementing budget goals and revenue targets.

With five restaurant and bar concepts, comfy and cozy island accommodations and best-in-class amenities, the resort will bring a much-needed retreat from the everyday hustle of the city. The Margaritaville Resort in Times Square is in development by Margaritaville Hospitality Group, Soho Properties, Inc, and Flintlock Constructions Services LLC, along with IMCMV Holdings, Inc. for the property’s food, beverage and retail concepts.
