Lord Baltimore Hotel Welcomes New Hotel Director of Operations

BALTIMORE – The Lord Baltimore Hotel announced Monday that Abraham Esquivel has returned to the award-winning hotel as its director of operations.

Esquivel has more than 25 years of experience in the hotel industry, working in various roles at hotels across the Mid-Atlantic, including the Lord Baltimore Hotel, where he served as assistant general manager from 2013 to 2016. Most recently, he has served as night manager for the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore.

With his astute leadership, extensive experience in hotel operations and genuine commitment to fostering transparent communication and team excellence, we are confident that Abraham will contribute to the continued success of our hotel and provide exceptional guest experiences,” said Sheila Wiegandt, comptroller of the hotel. 

In his new role, Esquivel will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service quality and maximizing operational efficiency, according to a press release. He will leverage his extensive experience and strong leadership skills to collaborate with staff, implement effective strategies and drive the hotel’s continued success.

Esquivel received his bachelor’s degree in hotel administration and management from the University of Phoenix and obtained a hospitality and tourism management certification from Florida Atlantic University.
