Andy Evers Named New Director of Operations at Destination Residences Hawaii

KAUAI, Hawaii – Destination Residences Hawaii announced today that Andy Evers has been selected as its new Director of Operations for Kauai. Evers will lead all aspects of the resort’s operating departments including guest experience, housekeeping, maintenance, and owner experience. He will also have direct oversight of The Lodge at Kukui’ula as well as responsibility for vacation rental and property management for the exclusive collection of luxury homes offered by Kauai Luxury Vacation Villas.
Evers most recently served as the General Manager of Azul Hawaii Resorts, operating the full-service Koloa Landing Resort as part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. Under his leadership, the resort had the highest customer service scores in the company for five consecutive years and was voted the “Best Pool in the U.S.” three years in a row by USA Today. Evers’ keen focus on guest and owner satisfaction also resulted in the property’s achievement of top 10 status within the Marriott portfolio for three consecutive years.

Throughout his career, Evers has successfully led large-scale renovation and rebranding efforts of distressed properties, improved annual guest and employee satisfaction scores, and improved market share. He has also been responsible for revenue and profit growth across various lines of business at multiple properties.
Evers lives in Lawai, Kauai with his wife of 23 years and their children.
