AKA Launches Health and Wellness Program for Long-Stay Guests

August 11, 2026

PHILADELPHIA AKA has launched Atelier AKA Health + Wellness, a portfolio-wide program designed to incorporate fitness, sleep, nutrition and other wellness services into its long-stay hospitality model.

The program is organized around five areas: movement, sleep optimization, longevity, mindfulness and nourishment. AKA said the initiative combines on-property amenities with technology, fitness programming and outside wellness partners, with some services available only at select properties.

“At AKA, wellness is not an amenity; it is an essential part of livability and the resident experience,” said Larry Korman, CEO of AKA.

The movement component expands AKA’s existing relationship with Technogym. Residents can use Technogym’s digital platform for customized workouts and fitness tracking, while select properties are offering in-suite fitness and recovery equipment.

At AKA Central Park in New York, the Technogym Checkup system assesses factors including body composition, strength, balance, mobility and cognitive abilities. Its Technogym Coach platform uses the assessment to generate personalized training recommendations.

Select locations also offer Technogym Cases, which contain exercise mats, foam rollers, mobility balls and resistance bands for in-suite workouts. AKA is also connecting residents with local fitness studios, trainers, recovery services and wellness practitioners in its markets.

The program’s sleep component, called a.sleep, offers an in-suite menu that includes different pillow firmness options, body pillows, weighted blankets, sleep masks, sound machines, diffusers and herbal teas. Additional services at some properties include sleep coaching, circadian rhythm programs, infrared sauna blankets and red-light therapy.

AKA is also incorporating nutrition into the program through its residential-style kitchens and food and wellness partnerships. At AKA Times Square, residents can access meal services from Factor and HelloFresh, while AKA Sutton Place offers private-chef services. Properties in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood offer grocery stocking through Erewhon.

The broader Atelier AKA program is available across the company’s portfolio, which includes properties in New York; Philadelphia; Boston; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Washington, D.C.; Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, Calif.; and London.

AKA is a division of Korman Communities and operates hotels and serviced residences geared in part toward extended stays.
