CoralTree Hospitality Names Jeff Knowlton Chief Technology Officer

CoralTreeCTO KnowltonDENVER, Colo. — CoralTree Hospitality has appointed Jeff Knowlton chief technology officer, putting him in charge of the company’s enterprise technology strategy, digital innovation and systems optimization across its portfolio of hotels and resorts.

Knowlton has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and technology. In his new role, he will oversee CoralTree’s technology roadmap, including initiatives related to guest-facing technology, operational systems and infrastructure.

“Jeff’s deep expertise at the intersection of hospitality and technology makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team,” said Tom Luersen, president of CoralTree Hospitality. “As we continue to grow, his vision and leadership will be instrumental in delivering innovative, seamless and data-driven guest experiences across our portfolio.”

Knowlton most recently served as chief information officer for Peregrine Hospitality and previously held the same role at Sonesta Hotels. He also has held technology positions with Pursuit Collection, Sage Hospitality and Vail Resorts.

His previous work has included technology transformations, cybersecurity initiatives, hotel system integrations and data and reporting programs.

Knowlton earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration and management from Johnson State College. He is based in Denver.

CoralTree Hospitality, founded in 2018 and based in Denver, manages a portfolio of more than 50 hotels, resorts and vacation rentals, including independent, branded and soft-branded properties. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Los Angeles-based real estate investment, management and development firm Lowe.
