The Bower Coronado Joins Small Luxury Hotels of the World

CORONADO, Calif. — The Bower Coronado, a 39-room boutique hotel in Coronado, Calif., has joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

The membership is SLH’s first in Coronado. Small Luxury Hotels of the World includes more than 700 independently owned hotels in more than 100 countries.

The Bower Coronado is located at 1417 Orange Ave., near the beach, dining and boutiques. The hotel’s design is inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, which emphasizes natural and understated beauty. The property is also home to DIVE, a rooftop bar and restaurant with Pacific views, cocktails and coastal California cuisine.

“Joining Small Luxury Hotels of the World is meaningful because it recognizes exactly what we set out to create at The Bower: an independent hotel with a strong sense of place, thoughtful design, and a genuinely personal guest experience,” said Sean Murphy, general manager of The Bower Coronado.

Through the membership, guests can access the complimentary SLH Club loyalty program. The Bower Coronado also is bookable through Hilton through SLH’s partnership with Hilton Honors, allowing guests to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points on stays.
