Homewood Suites by Hilton Surrey officially opens in Health and Technology District

SURREY, B.C. — The City Centre 4 building in Surrey, B.C.’s Health and Technology District is now home to the Homewood Suites by Hilton Surrey, which recently celebrated its grand opening.

Developed by ICT Group and Lark Group and operated by Aquilini Group, Homewood Suites by Hilton Surrey is an extended-stay hotel with 189 studio and one-bedroom suites with kitchens, occupying the top nine floors of the newly completed City Centre 4 building. Located at 9686 137 Street, Surrey, it is in close proximity to Surrey Memorial Hospital and the King George SkyTrain Station.

The hotel also includes a 6,000-square-foot rooftop amenity space featuring barbecue areas, fire pits, a landscaped outdoor lounge and gathering spaces.

According to a release, the Health and Technology District is an 11-phased development with nine City Centre buildings planned – with City Centre 5 already under construction – located beside Surrey Memorial Hospital.

The district campus features mixed-use office, retail, health care, technology, hospitality, higher education and purpose-built student and faculty housing space.

In addition to the Homewood Suites by Hilton, City Centre 4 includes Western Community College’s expanded campus, Stong’s Market, STEMS by Stong’s, and later in 2026, they will welcome Maharaja, a new Indian restaurant and City Centre Surgery, the release adds.
