The Mill at Zehnder Park Welcomes Assistant Director of Hotel Operations

FRANKENMUTH, MI — The Mill at Zehnder Park has announced in a press release the appointment of Nicki Bailey as assistant director of hotel operations for Frankenmuth’s soon-to-open luxury boutique hotel.

The Mill at Zehnder Park is housed within a reimagined 19th-century flour mill overlooking the Cass River. The four-suite property will feature the Landmark Lounge, a signature cocktail bar.

In her new role, Bailey oversees the day-to-day responsibilities of The Mill at Zehnder Park and Zehnder’s Splash Village, reporting directly to Director of Hotel and Waterpark Operations Shelby Albrecht.

“Nicki brings a wealth of knowledge and hospitality acumen,” Albrecht said. “She has established a strong presence within the Zehnder’s organization, and she is much deserving of this elevated role during such an exciting time for our business.”

Prior to joining The Mill at Zehnder Park, Bailey served as a manager in training at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth and as a project committee member for The Mill at Zehnder Park, where she played a key role in coordinating operations and aligning departments to bring the project’s vision to life.

She also brings valuable experience from The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, where she served as a guest experience manager for food & beverage and as a merchandise sales and recreation coordinator, helping to elevate guest engagement through inclusive programming.

Nestled in the heart of this city on the western edge of Michigan’s “thumb,” The Mill at Zehnder Park is slated for a grand opening in early 2026.
