February 9, 2023

Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York is pleased to appoint Adam Klein as Vice President and Diana Chan as Executive Director of Sales. The pair bring years of experience and a deep knowledge of the luxury hospitality industry to one of New York’s newest properties. Klein and Chan will help ensure the Tribeca property’s continued success into the future.

Adam Klein, Vice President

Klein, a graduate of Boston University, is a hospitality industry veteran with years of experience in executive roles. He spent most of his career with Turnberry and Fontainebleau Development, developing, opening and operating The Fontainebleau Miami Beach and JW Marriott Turnberry Resort and Club. Following his time with Turnberry and Fontainebleau Development, Klein launched his own advisory firm, Klein Hospitality, assisting in the development, opening, and operations of private clubs, luxury restaurants, and hotels, including Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York.

“Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York is truly an amazing addition to New York City’s already elite luxury hotel scene, bringing the brand’s unique Parisian charm to the city,” said Klein. “I am looking forward to supporting the growth of the luxury property and developing a rich, authentic history with exceptional experiences for our guests.”

As Vice President, Klein will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York. His new role will help the hotel maintain Groupe Barrière’s signature level throughout all areas of the group’s first US property.

Diana Chan, Executive Director of Sales

Chan is a luxury hospitality sales leader with over 20 years of business experience at some of the best-in-class hotels throughout the world. She previously held sales and marketing roles with Faena Hotels, The Savoy London, and The St. Regis New York. Born in Hong Kong and raised in New York City, Diana holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

“Our team and I are excited to show the world what we profoundly believe the New York City 5-Star luxury hotel market has been missing for a long time,” said Chan. “Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York offers the elegance of French hospitality with relevant amenities, experiences and services expected from the most well-heeled global traveler.”

As Executive Director of Sales, Chan will oversee the sales team and help increase clientele within key targeted markets. Chan will bring a dynamic, guest-focused, result-oriented, and inclusive leadership style to the Tribeca property.
