Fusco Named GM of Orient Express Venice

BartolomeoFuscoVENICE, IT — Orient Express has announced in a press release the appointment of Bartolomeo Fusco as general manager of Orient Express Venice.

As GM, Fusco oversees the strategic positioning and operational launch of the Venice property ahead of the opening of the brand’s second hotel in early 2026. Fusco is responsible for overseeing the strategic positioning, development, and daily operations.

Fusco most recently served as general manager of Aman Rosa Alpina in San Cassiano, Italy. His career also includes five years as deputy general manager at Aman Venice, international leadership roles as interim general manager at Aman in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro, and Amanjena in Marrakech, Morocco. He also worked for years as director of food & beverage at Aman Venice.

Artisan of travel since 1883, Orient Express has just launched its first hotel, Orient Express La Minerva, in Rome. The experience continues with the recent launch of La Dolce Vita Orient Express train, followed by Orient Express Corinthian in 2026, the first of two Orient Express Sailing Yachts, and finally, the return of L’Orient Express train to railways. Since 2022, Orient Express is part of Accor Group’s collection of luxury brands. In 2024, Accor and LVMH entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the development of Orient Express.
