Discover the “Hacks” into Online Hospitality Growth

By Daniel Zolinski | December 19, 2023

I nearly did a triple-take when I noticed we are almost halfway through December already. Time truly does fly when you plan, implement, iterate, and execute your goals. I am in a completely different life situation to how I was 1 year ago. Are there milestones that I failed to meet? Of course, there are. Are there other achievements I’ve met that I was uncertain of accomplishing? You know it! In today’s article, I want to highlight the three “hacks” to scale your hospitality growth. The Super Bowl is won in the offseason. Implement these strategies through the end of the year, and you’ll be ahead of your competition entering the new year.

  1. Become 1% Better Every Day

I remember entering college extremely shy. My presentation skills were a mess and I found it difficult to engage with others. I decided to work on my communication skills. I did this by simply complimenting someone on their outfit. I prepared myself better for presentations by understanding the content inside and out, which gave me more confidence. Becoming 1% better every day first starts from within. What kind of attitude are you waking up with and carrying with you into the day? Do you believe that you can reach the level in which you aspire to be at? There is plenty of negativity we are surrounded by. Be the person to change not only your mindset, but the mindset of those around you. Do something uncomfortable every day and watch new opportunities come about in unexpected ways.

  1. Optimize Your Content

Hospitality content can perform very well on social media, but there are a few factors that separate those who succeed with it and those that don’t. 1. Consistency. Simply writing a new blog for your website every day will make you a better writer and create more engaging content. Uploading a new video to your social media every day will allow you to understand what performs well and what doesn’t. Consistent iteration will work wonders for your online hospitality growth. 2. Network. Online content may be an unfamiliar territory for you. Network with those who are finding success with it. Learn from them, ask questions, and implement it for yourself. The best way to scale quicker online is to collaborate with others.

  1. Craft Compelling Hooks and Titles

As you get 1% better every day through consistent work, you’ll notice that 80% of the success on videos or blogs stems from the hook or title of your content. For example, I’ve reposted content on Twitter (now X) and LinkedIn that got more engagement simply by changing the first few lines or title of the post. For your hospitality business, play around with it. Understand what people find intriguing. Catch their attention from the beginning, and you’ll have them hooked all the way through.
