His scope will include Bishop’s Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection (Santa Fe, N.M.), Goldener Hirsch, Auberge Resorts Collection and The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection (Park City, UT), Hotel Jerome, Auberge Resorts Collection (Aspen, CO), Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection (Telluride, CO), Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection (Hawaii), Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection and Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection (Napa Valley, CA) and The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, Auberge Resorts Collection (Los Olivos, CA).

Over the last decade, Whitfield held a regional role with the Dorchester Collection in England, and was also Regional Vice President with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in the Americas. His strong senior leadership has resulted in the success of multiple properties, hotel openings, re-brands and renovations, as well as the development and recruitment of outstanding talent. His past experience will lend itself well to this new role, in which he will develop, deploy and oversee strategy and operations with openings, transitions and existing Auberge Resorts Collection properties.

“Auberge Resorts Collection is the most exciting, unique and innovative luxury hotel brand in the market right now,” said Whitfield. “It is an honor to join the family and I look forward to helping cultivate the brand’s West Coast portfolio, keeping the brand’s truly one-of-a-kind vision at the forefront.”
