SEATTLE — The Society, an independent interiors-led hospitality design collective, announced the appointment of Casey Scalf to Director on Wednesday. In his new role, Casey will embrace a significant shift in responsibility, with a primary focus on strategic leadership, according to a press release. He will also shape the future vision of the organization, determining key partnerships, selecting project types, and ensuring the execution of projects at an exceptional level.
“Being entrusted with the opportunity to lead this collective into the future is an extraordinary honor,” said Scalf. “Upholding the core values of collaboration, empowerment, and innovation established by The Society’s former Director of Interior Design, Karen Bowery, will guide us towards accomplishing feats that were once only distant aspirations six years ago. I am eagerly anticipating the remarkable possibilities that lie ahead for us.”
Scalf’s previous contributions to The Society have been instrumental in shaping some of the firm’s most iconic projects, earning him recognition within the industry for his ability to seamlessly blend aesthetics, functionality, and guest satisfaction, the release said. As a former Design Principal, Scalf has cultivated an environment characterized by respect, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.
