Mumford Company Completes the Sale of Tru by Hilton Dallas

Mumford Company announced Tuesday it completed the sale of the Tru by Hilton Rockwall Dallas, located in Rockwall, Texas. 

“It was our pleasure to have once again had the opportunity to represent McNeill family interests in the sale of the Tru by Hilton,” said David Mumford, Senior Principal of Mumford Company. “For over 30 years, across many transactions as both sellers and buyers, we have enjoyed working with Mr. McNeill, his family, and investor groups to assist them in successfully accomplishing their hospitality investment objectives and look forward to more opportunities in the future.”

The 98-room Tru by Hilton Rockwall Dallas is only a few minutes from Lake Ray Hubbard and the Harbor District of shops and restaurants. Guests can access I-30 and local attractions, including the Buffalo Creek Golf Club, Rockwall Indoor Sports Expo, and Texas Presbyterian Hospital. The property was built in 2020 and features a fitness center, business center, free hot breakfast, and a heated outdoor pool with patio seating.

“The purchasers were affiliates of an Alabama-based developer with multiple holdings in the Sunbelt states,” said Steve Kirby, managing principal of Mumford Company. “This was our fifth sale to the group. Repeat business is the best business.”
