The Relaunch Of Hotel Interactive
Trusted Online Resource Returns With Fresh New Design, Features
The world changed for all of us last March, not just personally but professionally as well, and we most certainly felt that change here at Hotel Interactive. Despite more than 20 years as a trusted online resource—including the industry’s first daily e-newsletter with an original news story—Hotel Interactive, like most of the hospitality industry, had to pivot as well.
And pivot we did. On the event side, we wasted no time building our own proprietary platform and have taken our BITAC virtual events to another level not seen throughout the lodging industry. In terms of our website, we identified the need to provide more than just the latest news and editorial insights but rather a platform that could bring the industry together during a tumultuous time. The result was the creation of Hotel Community Forum, a hybrid site combining the best of social media with timely news.
Feedback from the industry to this innovative new site was tremendous, and our readers have welcomed this new platform. But we also received lots of feedback from loyal supporters who wanted to know what happened to Hotel Interactive and would it be coming back? Well I’m happy to report that armed with a fresh and current look, Hotel Interactive is indeed back to serve the industry again.
“We are excited about the relaunch of Hotel Interactive as well as its daily newsletter. The first edition was launched on June 6, 1999. Our mission is to continue to be the same indispensable resource, featuring timely, original and insightful news and business resources daily. Please check out our updated look as well as some very useful features, all of which have been created to keep you ahead of the curve,” said Rich Viola, President and CEO, Hotel Interactive, Inc.
A daily feature story, the latest press releases, upcoming industry events, and weekly poll questions are all part of the new and improved Hotel Interactive, which will also send out an e-newsletter every day of the week just like in year’s past. But make no mistake, Hotel Community Forum isn’t going anywhere. So for those still looking to make connections within the industry while keeping up with the latest news it’s a win/win.
It’s been a long and challenging 12 months plus for everyone, but I think we can all agree that brighter days are ahead as we look to return to some sense of normalcy. Hopefully, the return of a trusted resource like Hotel Interactive can help expedite that return to normal. As always, we want to hear your feedback on the re-engineered site, or anything else for that matter, so feel free to drop me a line at DNessler@hotelinteractive.com and keep reading.
