The Beeman Hotel In Dallas Announces Completion Of Renovation

DALLAS—The Beeman Hotel, managed by Evolution Hospitality, announces the completion of a top-to-bottom renovation, establishing the property as a well-appointed representation of both Dallas’ history and ongoing evolution. Located in the stylish neighborhood of Park Cities, the overhaul features an enhanced room product, upgraded indoor pool with new outdoor area, the addition of a grab-and-go-market, a lively lobby lounge, a new BBQ restaurant concept, and 12,000 square feet of private event and meeting space. The redesign, led by locally based Studio 11 and Carrell Partners & Yost Architects, sets out to create a sense of community and amplify the unique diversity that is central to the spirit of Dallas, bringing together the many personalities and cultures that make up the city.

The 297 handsomely hip guestrooms blend clean, tailored lines with an artistic flair, such as unexpected uses of color and forward-thinking design details. The central design feature in the guestrooms is the accent wall featuring a geometrically muraled wallcovering, including deep tones with pops of color throughout. The property gets its name from one of the pioneering settlers of East Dallas, John Beeman, and in order to incorporate Dallas’ history into the design, the rooms all include rustic elements such as sliding barn doors as a nod to the city’s humble beginnings. The hotel’s hospitality suites have also been upgraded to include tailored lines as well as modern flooring and accents to match.

The renovated public spaces include the corridors, lobby lounge, the fitness center, meeting spaces and the property’s indoor pool with an adjoining outdoor space/ The corridors and lobby lounge effectively blend the styles of Dallas’ eclectic downtown, the industrial atmosphere of Deep Ellum and the refined sensibility of Park Cities, by mixing saddle leather chairs, metallic accents, and pink pillows and throws. Simultaneously, the indoor pool and outdoor space, located on main floor, bring a sense of playfulness with a free-spirited edge, brought to life with a playful color palette, string lights, greenery, golden rubber duckies, and a tremendous two-story mural featuring Dallas icons including the Pegasus, a symbol of the city.

The property has a prime geographic location nearby many of Dallas’ top attractions and social hubs including Southern Methodist University, Mockingbird Station, Greenville Avenue and trails leading to White Rock Lake. Given its centralized setting and multi-purposed refurbishment, The Beeman is designed to cater to all audiences become one of the city’s centers for socializing. By day, the lobby’s stunning barn doors remain open as a coffee space, and as the sun begins to set, the doors close to suggest a nighttime atmosphere. Furthermore, the lobby area includes an idyllic library-esque destination, serving as an area for guests to relax or catch up on work, and the space is available for private events.

The property will also soon be unveiling Seely’s Mill Texas BBQ restaurant, located on the main floor for guests and locals to enjoy. The restaurant welcomes both guests and locals with a menu inspired by Texas’ famed BBQ, and regular entertaining programming.
