Ritz Central Park’s Exclusive Club Lounge Opens Today
NEW YORK–The highly anticipated re-opening of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park’s Club Lounge — the only five-diamond private club lounge in New York City — is set for September 1, 2022. Its initial opening after a multi-million dollar hotel renovation in 2019 was short-lived due to the pandemic.
“As New York City tourism continues to rebound, we are thrilled to open our beloved Club Lounge without limitations, just in time for the busy holiday season,” said General Manager Douglas Housley.
Located on the hotel’s second floor, with stunning views of Central Park, the Club Lounge is a unique selling point of the hotel and offers an exclusive, intimate space for guests to unwind and dine. Guests will also enjoy exclusive experiences such as caviar, wine and spirit tastings led by master mixologists and renowned sommeliers.
The stunning 3,000+ square-foot space, with seating for 50, combines sophisticated interiors featuring dark wood paneling with contrasting bright shades of green, beige velvet and leather fabrics throughout.
The re-opening includes a new exclusive wellness-inspired menu that doesn’t compromise flavor or ingredients. The new menu will rotate daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and change seasonally, offering a creative take on classic ingredients and dishes. Each day there will be complimentary culinary presentations from local producers including Bouchon Bakery, Kings County Distillery and Brooklyn Cured Meats. On Fridays, guests can enjoy a pre-dinner beverage from the champagne cart and a luxurious caviar tasting.
Reserved just for Club Lounge guests, a dedicated on-site concierge can plan the evening while guests relax and enjoy Central Park views. Guests can also take advantage of personal luxury shopping and tailoring services through the hotel’s exclusive partnership with Fifth Avenue Club at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Children are welcome in this home-away-from-home. Family entertainment includes an extensive collection of games, a large library of books, a locally inspired Ritz Kids activity book, and a beautiful candy display with classic sweets and seasonal treats.
Club Lounge access is included complimentary for specialty suite guests (Presidential, Royal, Artist Gate, Ritz-Carlton Suite and The Central Park Suite), guests can expect to pay between $450 and $750+ per night if purchased separately, the cost is subject to season. Guests will be able to use the Club Lounge from 7am to 10pm.
