Red Roof Promotes Key Leaders In Pivotal Roles Across The Organization
COLUMBUS, OH—Red Roof, the leader in Upscale Economy® lodging, is promoting three strong leaders to fill key roles in the organization. “We are fortunate to have extraordinary people all across our organization,” said George Limbert, President of Red Roof. “These three leaders are emblematic of the strength and talent in this organization. All three will play pivotal roles in the dynamic growth and development of our brands.”
John Park has been promoted to Vice President, Finance. John joined Red Roof in 2018 as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. John is integral to managing complex budgets and works across all departments to ensure the company’s financial objectives are met. He has also been instrumental in helping the company navigate the financial challenges of the last year. John will be a central leader in tracking results and capital performance as Red Roof moves forward in both growth and improved profitability.
Michael Sharp has been promoted to Vice President, Procurement, Design and Construction. Michael joined the Red Roof design and construction team ten years ago in 2011. He oversees all Property Improvement Plans and is responsible for procuring the furniture, fixtures and equipment as well as all operating supplies for Red Roof. His leadership of the Red Roof design and construction department puts Michael at the center of all interior and exterior design concepts for existing and onboarding franchisees. That includes the new prototype construction for both the Red Roof Inn brands and the HomeTowne Studios properties. Michael and his team work closely with all of the organization’s franchisees, as well as the operations and the development teams to grow the brand, maintain quality and brand standards.
Steve Woodward has been promoted to Vice President, Quality, Training and Development. Steve joined Red Roof in 2015 to work on training and staff development. He has spent more than 30 years in the hospitality industry and Red Roof will continue to benefit from his deep understanding of the relationship between people’s skills and the delivery of consistent brand standards. Steve will be instrumental in the skills development that franchisees and operators depend on to deliver a quality experience to guests across the spectrum of Red Roof brands.
“Red Roof has deep bench-strength, and we are fortunate to have these integral leaders move into mission-critical roles for us,” Limbert added. “We are proud to have them on our team and as a part of our extended Red Roof family.”
