Phelan Joins CoralTree Hospitality As Director Of Analytics And Business Intelligence

DENVER–Dana Cariss, vice president of revenue strategy and distribution for CoralTree Hospitality, today announced that Jim Phelan has joined the home office team as director of analytics and business intelligence. In this new role, Phelan is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s new business intelligence platform across the portfolio. He also oversees data reporting across the CoralTree collection and helps identify key trends that impact business and offers strategies to help address hotel needs.

“Jim has worked with our team for several years having come from the Destination Hotels & Resorts team before CoralTree’s inception,” said Cariss. “We have great trust in Jim’s ability to launch our new BI platform and we are excited to see how he’ll leverage this information to help our properties perform even better in the future.” Phelan also plays a dual role for the CoralTree team as regional support of revenue strategy for the four properties the company manages in Lake Nona, Florida.

Phelan joined the CoralTree home office team after handling revenue strategy for Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando, FL where he assisted in the opening and successful launch of this technologically advanced hotel. His experience also includes a regional revenue management position overseeing the Grand Hyatt Vail and Vail Residences at Cascade Village. Prior positions include revenue management for The Carolina Inn and Rizzo Center in North Carolina, Hotel Vitale in San Francisco, Destination Residences Maui and Hotel De Anza in San Jose.
