Noble House Hotels & Resorts Appoints Key New Hires To The Historic Napa Valley Wine Train
NAPA, CA–The Napa Valley Wine Train, an engaging and memorable experience that echoes the glory days of train travel, is pleased to announce the recent hires of Nathan Davis as general manager, Brian Bouchelle as area director of sales and catering and Jorge Ruiz as director of food and beverage. Recently reopened in May after remaining closed for over a year due to the pandemic, the iconic wine country experience is a favorite activity for locals and travelers alike when visiting Northern California’s famed wine country. Davis, Bouchelle and Ruiz bring extensive experience to the team and will continue positioning the Napa Valley Wine Train among the best attractions in the country.

Davis joins the Napa Valley Wine Train as general manager and will oversee all operations. Most recently, Davis served as general manager at the Harvest Inn in St. Helena and prior to that, he occupied roles at prestigious properties such as The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and Spa, Michael Mina’s Stonehill Tavern, and the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. After spending several years in Maui, Davis moved back to California and served as the director of operations at The U.S. Grant, A Luxury Collection Hotel in San Diego, where the property was awarded the Starwood Global Luxury Collection Hotel of the Year Award in 2012 under his leadership.
As the area director of sales and catering, Bouchelle brings over 25 years of hospitality sales experience to his role and will oversee key client relationships, support overall system-wide sales plans, strategies, and programs, and lead the catering team. Most recently he served as the director of business development for the Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Formerly, he worked in global sales with Omni Hotels and Resorts and the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Bouchelle is active in the meetings industry, serving on the boards of the Northern California Chapter of PCMA for the past 10 years and MPI and will bring experience, enthusiasm, and creativity to his role at the Napa Valley Wine Train.
Joining the Napa Valley Wine Train as the director of food and beverage, Ruiz brings over 20 years of luxury hospitality experience to his new role. Most recently he served as the director of food and beverage at nearby Silverado Resort & Spa and prior to that, he worked at several celebrated Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts including Puerto Rico, South Beach, Key Biscayne, Bali, Orlando and Las Vegas. Ruiz also served as the Maitre’D of the Secretary of State Honorable Ferdinand Mercado and the Director of Outside Caterings for the former Governor of Puerto Rico Sila Maria Calderon. Through the years, Ruiz has been recognized as employee of the year, best opening trainer, leader of the quarter and hotel manager of the year.
