Newton Joins HVS As A Design Director

ROCKVILLE, MD– HVS Design, a leading Interior Design firm specializing in the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce that Kristi L. Newton, PMP, MBA has joined the firm as a Design Director.

Ms. Newton brings more than 25 years of professional design experience to HVS Design.  As a Design Director, she will oversee and manage the staff of designers as well as be hands on with creating designs for the firms’ numerous hospitality projects.  Newton will be based out of the company’s Rockville, Maryland office, just outside of Washington, DC.

Prior to joining HVS Design, Ms. Newton served in various leadership roles at RD Jones and Associates; Streetsense, Las Vegas Sands Corporation, and Walt Disney Imagineering.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota; her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Miami; and her Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School.

HVS Design is currently working on several hospitality projects across the country including the Hilton Hotel in Jacksonville, FL; Hyatt Place in Kent Narrows, MD; and the Inn at Bayside in Fenwick Island, DE.
