The six-floor, 145-room hotel, which broke ground in September 2019, celebrated with a soft opening on Thursday, January 21, 2021, and is currently accepting reservations.
Guests can enjoy the hotel’s modern and clean accommodations with separate spaces to work and relax as well as full kitchens with ingredients available in the 24-hour market. Hyatt House Tampa Airport Westshore, which is owned and managed by McKibbon Hospitality, marks the 87th hotel in the company’s overall management portfolio bringing the total number of rooms to 9,870. McKibbon Places, McKibbon Hospitality’s sister company, served as the development arm of the project, selecting Sarasota-based Kellogg & Kimsey as the general contractor and Base4 of Boca Raton as the architect.
