The Seating Shoppe Carves Its Niche With Custom Solutions

The construction of the chair has the most significant effect on how durable the chair is. The Seating Shoppe looks to ensure a lasting hold utilizing extra support bars, full welds, and manufacturing expertise, in addition to stacking capabilities.

Comfort, meanwhile, stresses that comfortable seats are expected to have a plush feel while remaining spacious and warm, according to the company. Cost refers to the cost comparison between chairs of equal quality as well as the difference in quality. Finally, Customization expertise is a pre-requisite to bring the customer’s vision to life with more than 900 fabrics and vinyls and 30 frame finishes.

Boasting a management team with more than 50 years in the hospitality and commercial seating line, Berkowitz noted that each hotel project has significant oversight, including a dedicated project manager.

“Everything is overviewed by everybody in the company so you have a lot of people who are multi-tasking. Nothing falls through the cracks,” said Berkowitz, who described the company as having an “excellence in operations.”

The Seating Shoppe is also armed with a full lineup of designers, as well as its own design studio known as TSS Design Studio. Each product is custom made to customer specifications and the company has a customer-centered development specialist that works directly with designers.

Apparently, its diverse product lineup has caught the attention of seasoned hospitality industry designers as well. Celia Barrett, Principal, Barrett Design Studio, touted the company’s quality craftmanship and reasonable pricing, not to mention its customer service.
