Driftwood Capital Appoints John Davis To Managing Director, Asset Management

MIAMI–Driftwood Capital, a vertically integrated commercial real estate investment, development and lending platform specializing in hospitality, has expanded its executive team with the appointment of John Davis as Managing Director, Asset Management. In this role, Davis will be responsible for managing Driftwood Capital’s portfolio of 36 full-service hotels located around the country, along with several new hotels in the firm’s development and acquisitions pipeline.

Davis brings over 25 years of expertise in the hospitality industry to his new role. Over the course of his career, which included stints at Marriott International, Broadreach Capital Partners, and Woodbine Development Corporation, he has successfully managed 75 hotels representing approximately 15,000 keys. Immediately prior to joining Driftwood, he served as Vice President of Asset Management for Stonebridge, a private real estate development, ownership and management company focused on hospitality, where he oversaw 42 of the company’s assets representing more than $1 billion in value.

Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a MBA from Duke University. He resides in Miami, FL.
