“Dorothea brings a diverse set of skills to the GSO team having worked both in-house at some of the top hotels in the country and she’s has extensive experience working with destination marketing organizations,” said Fournier. “We look forward to having her represent our growing portfolio of hotels and resorts to clients throughout the eastern region of the U.S.”
Calabrese brings an extensive background to the CoralTree team and most recently was a senior buyer for Maritz Global Events. She also was a sales leader for several high-end hotels over the years including The Greenbrier, Nemacolin Woodlands and Loews Hotel. She also brings the perspective of a destination marketing organization to the team with sales experience at DMOs in Charlotte, Long Beach and Houston.
The GSO team includes directors handling group and corporate business as well as tour and leisure needs. Julie Tenge oversees group business, strategic account development and global markets for the western region of the United States while Lisa Josoff focuses on the same type of strategic accounts in the Midwest. Allison Sayer is the global sales director for the travel industry with a special focus on, international, corporate preferred and luxury retail sales opportunities.
CoralTree’s GSO program for group and meeting planners was established to create brand ambassadors for the properties at industry events and provide planners with one main point contact to accelerate the planning process. The GSO team ultimately creates a seamless and cohesive booking process for customers at CoralTree’s collection of hotels and resorts.
By leveraging the resources of the complete CoralTree collection and using intimate knowledge of the strengths of each property, the team can make the meeting planning process more manageable to focus on the content and results. Extensive property knowledge and exceptional client relationships will support each individual hotel and generate business. The directors also can provide client with timely updates about new properties that join the portfolio, recent property enhancements, special promotions and current offers and value dates.
