RALEIGH, NC – Concord Hospitality Enterprises is pleased to announce that Melinda Griffith has joined the award-winning hotel management and development company as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In this role, she will spearhead the company’s business development and sales initiatives, focusing on forming strategic alliances, negotiating partnerships, forging relationships and growing the company’s hotel portfolio through third-party management contracts.

Griffith holds more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, spanning across the luxury, independent, full-service, select service, extended stay and new-build segments. Prior to joining the Concord team, she held the position of Senior Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at Interstate Hotels & Resorts (now Aimbridge Hospitality), where she contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in managed hotel revenue to the portfolio during her nearly 20-year tenure.
