RIDGELAND, MS–On Tuesday, February 22 the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently unveiled AC Hotel by Marriott Jackson Ridgeland at The Township at Colony Park, a five story, 132-room modern hotel featuring sleek accommodations, the European-inspired AC Lounge bar, and multifunctional meeting and event capabilities. More than 50 members of the community joined the festivities that featured remarks from local entities including the Ridgeland Tourism Commission, City of Ridgeland Mayor Gene McGee, Madison County Business League and Foundation, and Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce and their Diplomats. Guests enjoyed light refreshments that highlighted the hotel’s tapas-style menu offerings and property tours following the ribbon-cutting.
The design-driven hotel is a collaboration between local developer Kerioth Corporation and hospitality manager Mckibbon Hospitality. AC Hotel Jackson Ridgeland is Mississippi’s first AC Hotel by Marriott and adds a sophisticated, urban-inspired lodging option to The Township at Colony Park, a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood in the heart of the Ridgeland community. The hotel began welcoming guests on January 27.
