Kolter Hospitality Completes Renovation at Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port and Convention Center

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Kolter Hospitality has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port and Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., updating 126 guest rooms, meeting rooms and public spaces.

“It’s been exciting to hear the overwhelming positive reactions to this major renovation from our guests and employees,” said Scott Webb, president of Kolter Hospitality. “It has always been paramount to us that we continuously reinvest in our properties to better our guest experiences and provide a work environment for our employees to be proud of.”

Kolter Hospitality said each guest room was refreshed with new carpet, paint and furnishings, along with renovated bathrooms that include new tile flooring, bathtubs, showers and toilets. Rooms continue to offer separate areas for sleeping, working and relaxing.

According to the company, the lobby was updated with new carpeting, furnishings and a more modern interior design. The outdoor pool now has a new deck and refinished pool lining, and the 24-hour gym includes Peloton equipment and personal TVs.

The hotel also offers more than 1,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, a breakfast bar, a 24-hour market and an on-site dining venue called The Placery, which features shareable appetizers, burgers and salads, as well as a full bar.

Hyatt Place is a Hyatt Hotels Corp. brand with more than 285 locations worldwide. Kolter Hospitality, based in Delray Beach, Fla., is a division of The Kolter Group and manages 15 hotels with more than 2,400 keys in Florida markets.
