Fairmont Dallas Puts Focus On Groups With Meeting Space Renovations

DALLAS–The Fairmont Dallas hotel is putting some pizazz into its meeting spaces with a recent renovation of its second floor meeting room pre-function areas, hallways and nearly 18,000-square-foot Regency Ballroom. Combining the elegance of classic hospitality with a Texan flair, the renovated spaces blend contrasts of soft navy blue with white and hues of soft gold to create a luxury feel.

Guests will be filled with a sense of grandeur when arriving on the meeting rooms floor, set to be completed in February. Updated to serve as a contrast of hues, the walls reflect elements of luxury with rich, yet soft navy blues and flecks of muted gold tones throughout the spaces. Doors and door frames are painted a warm white tone to offer a deep contrast between the colors. The carpet has been designed to mimic the archway windows at the front entrance of the hotel, an iconic Fairmont Dallas feature. New touch-screen reader boards have been installed, offering meeting guests all information they need to know such as schedules, locations and hotel information.

The Regency Ballroom, the largest meeting and event room at the hotel, boasts an updated look with new chandeliers, carpet, curtains and paint. Soft navy and gold tones throughout the ballroom and 15 new chandeliers add to the rich aesthetic. The chandeliers make a statement in the room, with elements of hanging glass and bronze to tie the ballroom together. A frosted window treatment will be added to all of the windows, which will create a sense of modern luxury while still encouraging natural light to enter the ballroom.

A trendy technology nook adds to the pre-function area, with several plug-ins for charging portable electronic devices and a tabletop ready for pre- or post-meeting work. Refined public spaces with seating will encourage meeting attendees or any guests of the luxury hotel to sit down and relax while checking emails, working on a project or simply enjoying the new aesthetic.

Eco-friendly practices are important to Fairmont Dallas and several steps have been taken to ensure the hotel is leading with a green footprint. The hotel is replacing its current skylights with energy-efficient recessed lighting throughout the pre-function areas and hallway. Bathrooms on the second floor have also been updated with new fixtures including energy-efficient lighting and eco-friendly faucets.

With the meeting space renovations, Fairmont Dallas aims to continue to offer unrivaled service and luxury amenities in the middle of the Arts District in the heart of downtown Dallas. The hotel offers more than 70,000 square feet of flexible meeting space that can accommodate smaller meetings and social events to full corporate or social gatherings for 800 people. Each of the elegant guest rooms and suites offers sweeping views of downtown Dallas and the hotel is ideally located just walking distance from an array of fine-dining restaurants, shopping, arts and entertainment.

Fairmont Dallas features onsite dining options like Pyramid Restaurant & Bar and The Lobby Bar, a rooftop pool, a rooftop garden and apiary, a 24-hour fitness center and more.
