In 1901, Hans Grohe founded a company in the Black Forest village of Schiltach, Germany that would grow to become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of kitchen and bath fittings. Now, 115 years later, Hansgrohe has developed into an internationally renowned enterprise with subsidiaries in 37 countries. It can supply product across the globe and has an international team of project consultants, as well as field support who can meet the varying needs of a wide-range of discerning clients.
Over the years, the company has paid attention to the ever-changing hospitality market and offers effective options at varying price points. Hansgrohe retains an ongoing commitment to excellence and has remained in the expert hands of the Grohe family to this day.
In 1992, Hansgrohe launched its designer brand Axor, which was created through collaboration with prominent architects and designers including Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, Jean-Marie Massaud, Patricia Urquiola and Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec.
Both Hansgrohe and Axor products are in line with the current demand of the hospitality industry, offering easy renovations, sustainable WaterSense® certified solutions and ADA-compliant models. Many also incorporate Hansgrohe’s low-flow EcoRight™ technology, as well as the Quickclean® limescale-resistant function. The global presence of one company with two brands is a benefit to the hospitality market, providing proven technological expertise, performance and “haute” design.
