Designed by Michel Tortel, Schréder's HID-equipped ISLA family delivers outdoor lighting with progressive style, simplicity, energy efficiency and high performance. The ISLA was designed to complement a variety of urban environments including:

- Shopping Centers
- Municipalities
- Park trails and pathways
Schréder Lighting USA has combined the ISLA’s decorative, high performace fixture with the Philips® Cosmoplis lamp and ballast system to create the newest option for going green. This ground breaking metal halide technology saves energy by delivering:
- Up to 118 lumens per watt
- 30,000 hours in lamp rated life
- 80,000 hour electronic ballast rated life
- White light source at 2800k
- 70 CRI (Color Rendering Index)
- TCLP Compliant
- Easy Maintenance and precise lamp positioning
The ISLA’s dark sky friendly distribution is achieved with a high performance reflector and tempered flat glass lens for Type-2 applications. ISLA features a hermetically sealed optical module using the world-famous Sealsafe® System, with an IP66 rating to ensure lifetime protection without ingress of dirt or moisture. The ISLA is built in and shipped from Schreder’s newest State-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Addison Illinois.
A variety of highly durable finishes are available: Textured Black, Textured Gray, Textured White, Textured Bronze, Smooth Aluminum, and standard RAL colors, plus custom color matching. All finishes are UV- and salt spray-resistant and humidity proofed, in accordance with industry standards.
A broad range of poles are available for slipover mounting.
ISLA is wet location listed per UL 1598 and pending certification by the International Dark Sky Association.

Located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Schréder Lighting USA will be opening it’s new, state-of-the-art manufaturing plant in Addison, Illinois January 2010. Findings are shared within the group for the purpose of providing best options for the “the right light” worldwide.
