Interactive Hospitality Technology

Intelity, a leading hospitality software solution company, has attained yet another achievement – New York City's Bryant Park Hotel is the 50th hotel to sign up for the ICE (Interactive Customer Experience™) Mobile technology.

With this addition to its boasted amenities, Bryant Park Hotel, located just outside of Times Square, will provide guests with the option to access a full menu of services via their smartphones or tablets.  Once the ICE Mobile software is downloaded to their personal device from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store for Android, guests can use it for a variety of purposes, including ordering room service, requesting turn-down service and scheduling a wake-up call.

The rapid increase in smartphone and tablet usage among travelers has led many hotels to seek a full-service app for their guests. Approximately half of all US adults own a smartphone, according to a survey published by the Pew Internet Project earlier this year, and that figure rises to nearly three-quarters among adults between the ages of 25 and 34. Meanwhile, TripAdvisor reports that one in four travelers consider their tablet an essential carry-on item.

Intelity CEO and President David Adelson said, “Mobile technology is flourishing, especially among leisure and business travelers. It's becoming more than just a trend. It's becoming a modern way of life for the vast majority. We are pleased to be able to partner with Bryant Park Hotel and our other clients in assisting them with keeping up with this force and providing the content, convenience and control that their guests demand.”
