Acentic, a leading supplier of digital interactive TV (iTV) systems for the hotel industry, has successfully installed its Panorama In-room Hotel Entertainment Platform at the Westin Grand Munich Hotel. The system offers hotel guests up to 250 international digital TV channels, featuring a rich and fully customizable Graphical User Interface.
The Westin Munich Grand is an exclusive property located in Bogenhausen at the Arabella Park, with 627 guestrooms including 28 suites. The rooms cater to a wide range on international guests, offering luxurious amenities such a rainforest showers and Westin's exclusive pillow top mattress, heavenly beds Acentic was selected to provide the entertainment system at the Grand Munich based on the product's innovative features and flexibility in the implementation process, as well as Acentic's accumulated experience installing digital TV systems at luxury hotels worldwide.
Throughout the installation process, Acentic provided a high level of flexibility, making sure that while the new system was being installed the current systems were kept live, avoiding any service disruption to hotel guests. Acentic provided Westin Grand Munich with a complete solution leveraging the hotel's existing coaxial network, and additional components include LCD TV screens, management station and information services such as hotel information, weather forecast and international news.
